Tying the Knot
When it comes to working in the wedding industry in Scotland, I would imagine having 30+ years of experience in this industry, as I have, it would be a very handy attribute to have. I have a unique insight into weddings, having performed at probably thousands of couples' big days, as both wedding singer, secret waiter and event manager. I've been there in the venue, from early morning setting up, mixing and talking with the other staff and service providers who all work together to make your day unique and very special. I've been there dealing with brides and grooms, planning and perfecting their requirements, sometimes up to three years in advance.

These days, working as an Independent Scottish Wedding Celebrant, I bring this knowledge and experience of the industry to guide and assist happy couples about to be married with all aspects of their tailored ceremony. I bring my 30+ years of stagecraft to the ceremony itself that leaves couples revelling in the spotlight. Invigorated by these 30+ years of being a wedding specialist, I adore helping couples make amazing memories.

I have already over the years worked with countless couples making their dreams come true and now as a professional independent wedding celebrant, I'm continuing that trend creating fun and memorable ceremonies.
I look forward to helping you host a ceremony unlike any your guests could imagine, as your celebrant. As well as your celebrant, you can have me as your Master of Ceremonies and/or as Singer! Celebrant only, double up to MC or Singer or go all-in with the Three-In-One package, the choice is yours.

What's Included and Price

I work throughout the central belt of Scotland, further on occasion. I charge a flat fee of £525 as your Celebrant/Officiant. This includes an initial discovery chat to see if I'm the right celebrant for you, all phone/Zoom/text consultations thereafter, an in-person consultation to discuss ideas, working with you to craft a completely bespoke ceremony using a specially written script incorporating all of the elements discussed, including personalised vows/promises. I will then deliver this on the big day with confidence, humour and professionalism. You will receive a copy of the script after the ceremony.
Add-On Services

Please check out my Add-Ons page for extra elements you may wish to incorporate into your ceremony. The price of each Add-On is in addition to the basic celebrant-only fee.
Examples of Add-ons can include rituals like hand-fasting (where the expression "tying the knot" came from), sand ceremonies, Master of Ceremonies or Singer.
